Fort Bend County is home to 14 major Master-Planned Communities.  Considering the very rapid population growth of the area, the county will very likely have more in the near future.  Here is a summary of current developed, or developing,  communities.

Most master planned communities offer a wide variety of community facilities for residents.   Abrief summary is provided here as a general overview of what is available in Fort Bend County.

Aliana – 2,000 acres, mixture of single-family homes, condos, town-homes

Avalon – 427 acres in Sugar Land, 70 acres water, recreation center

Cinco Ranch – 7,500 acres, golf course, community center

Cross Creek Ranch – 3,200 acres, 700 acres water, 25 miles of trails, 4 schools

Firethorne – 1,400 acres, trails, pools, clubhouse, greenbelts and playgrounds.

First Colony – 9,700 acres, lakes, golf clubs, country club, community centers.  In Sugar Land, Texas.

Grand Lakes – 1,253 acres, 116 acres water, 200 acres of community green space, recreation centers  grandlakeslife.com

Seven Meadows – 1,050 acres, 18 hole golf course, community center, trails, pocket parks.

New Territory – 2,000 acres, lakes, parks, community center.

Telfair – 2,018 acres, 70 acres water, 417 acres parks including lakes, tennis, pools, playgrounds.

Riverstone – 3,700 acres, part of which fronts Brazos River. 250 acres pods & lakes, 500 acres green space, parks, recreation. Contains homes with both Sugar Land and Missouri City addresses.

River Park – 800 acres, 160 acres parks, community center.

Sienna Plantation – 9, 958 acres, 2,000 greenspace & community facilities   siennnaplantation.com

Greatwood – 2,050 acres, 32 acres water, golf course, trails, tennis, pools.
